Do Business Intelligently... Stay Out of Court
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We will no longer be accepting new long-term clients. We will accept new and old clients with short-term matters. Short-term matters include commercial agreements, such as licensing and leasing agreements, conversions to close corporations, legal advice, and the like.
Our firm supports businesses, professional practices, and related persons who prefer not to pay the huge expense necessitated by in-house or large law firm corporate counsel. Due to decades of experience with new firms up to billion dollar firms, we add value above and beyond the industry standard.
Bruce Beal has long and deep experience in a wide range of legal, as well as business matters. For example, he has extensive background as Senior Counsel of a major US international corporation. This allows him to guide you on both legal and strategic business issues. He also has significant major law firm experience, including arguments before state appellate and supreme courts. This allows him to advise properly on the costs of legal proceedings as well as manage necessary outside counsel in a cost-effective manner for you. This experience produces better legal and business judgment from him than is available from newer attorneys or attorneys whose practices are specialized and localized.
We have a high-tech, low-overhead office, which allows us to offer reasonable hourly rates, fixed fees, and an optional General Counsel Plan, which for a reasonable monthly retainer, allows your business or professional practice to have its own in-house counsel at discounted hourly rates.
We keep new, emerging, and more mature businesses, professional practices, and related persons out of trouble with preventative law practices relating to their organizational, transactional, employment and international practices, policies and procedures.
We add more value to your firm in many ways. You can always request a free initial consultation. If you wish, our attorney will visit you or your firm to get a better perception of your circumstances without a charge for travel in the local area.
Our purpose is to keep you out of court. If you are unfortunate enough to need litigation or defend litigation, as general counsel, we refer you to the most appropriate litigation attorney or firm and thereafter monitor and manage the costs of litigation, which could otherwise spiral out of control. Litigators are many times unavailable due to court action. We are here to advise and service you, when you need it. See my Guidelines for Outside Counsel.
In today's litigious society, you or your firm needs a business lawyer to act as an extension of your own firm.
